2018 Craft of Writing Conference

The Tulsa NightWriters Club hosted our third annual Craft of Writing Conference on November 3, 2018.  It was an all-day event held at the Martin Library on Garnett, the same place we have our monthly meetings.  Thank you club Vice-President Derek Bullard for spearheading this excellent adventure. And thanks to the officer board for providing a forum for writers at different steps along their literary path to meet on a level playing field to learn from each other.

This conference was a full day of teaching by some of the best writers in Oklahoma. Every speaker brought their A-game and held every session in rapt attention.  Our keynote speaker, Ken Zachary, knocked it out of the park with his inspiring and motivational speech. He let us know we can all reach our potential through dedication, planning, and good old-fashioned hard work. We had a great crowd of enthusiastic writers, both published and beginners.   The following is a look at our 2018 conference.

The 2019 Officer Board is already planning our 2019 Craft of Writing Conference.  Depending on room availability, it would be the first or second Saturday of November. We’ll keep the club informed via the newsletter and other notifications as the year moves along.
