2017 TNWC Flash Writing Contest Guidelines
Deadline: Midnight, Tuesday October 17, 2017
The first line must be: It wasn’t my fault.
The entry fee is $5.00 per submission, and multiple submissions are allowed.
All genres are accepted. Entries, except for poetry, should be double spaced. All entries should be 12pt font, Times New Roman, in .doc or .docx format.
The word limit is 500 words, including the title.
Earlier submissions are preferred.
The word count should appear at the top corner of page one. The title should be centered.
Page number and the title should appear on the top right hand corner of page 2.
Your name must not appear anywhere on your manuscript or you will be disqualified.
Please include a separate title page with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and the title of your piece.
First place is $100.
Second place is $60.
Third place is $40.
The winners will be announced at the annual Christmas party.
The contest is open to Tulsa NightWriters Club members only.
The judge this year is a writer who has worked in Hollywood on television, radio, and news. More credentials will be provided at the end of this contest.
